Privacy & Data Protection
Last updated: 20 July 2026
This statement explains what personal data we process when you use augurvantage.com or engage Augur Vantage, why we process it, and the rights you have. We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies to you, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible
The controller for the processing described here is Marbell AG, Luzernerstrasse 1, 6343 Rotkreuz, Switzerland — the operator of Augur Vantage. For any data-protection matter, contact augur@augurvantage.com.
What we collect, and why
When you contact us or request a report
If you use the intake form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, company or venture, role (optional), phone (optional), company size (optional), the question you want answered, your timeline, and any context links you choose to add. We use this to prepare your brief, scope the work, and respond to you. The legal basis is the taking of steps at your request prior to entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Submissions are stored on our own Swiss infrastructure and forwarded internally to our team so we can respond. The intake form never sends your message to a recipient you supply; the destination is fixed on our side.
When you engage us for a report
To produce a report, we process the decision context you provide in your brief. This context is processed within an environment isolated to your engagement (see Hosting and data location below) and is used only to deliver the work you have asked for. The legal basis is the performance of our contract with you.
When you pay
Payments are processed by Stripe on our behalf. When you pay, you provide your payment details directly to Stripe; we receive confirmation of the transaction and the billing information needed to issue an invoice, but we do not store your full card details. Stripe processes this data as an independent payment-services provider under its own terms and privacy policy. The legal basis is the performance of our contract and compliance with our legal (accounting) obligations.
When you book a call
If you book a call through our booking link, the scheduling is handled by Calendly. The details you enter to book (such as your name, email, and chosen time) are processed by Calendly under its own privacy policy. The legal basis is the taking of steps at your request prior to a contract.
When you simply visit the site
Our servers keep minimal technical logs (such as your IP address, browser user-agent, and basic request metadata) for the security and stability of the service. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies. We use no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. Fonts are served from our own infrastructure, so loading the site does not call out to a third-party font or content-delivery network.
Hosting and data location
Augur Vantage runs on servers operated by Marbell AG and hosted in Switzerland. Client engagements run in environments that are isolated per client: the context you share for your work stays within your own environment and is not commingled with other clients' data.
Who we share data with
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share data only with the service providers we need to operate, and only for that purpose:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Calendly — call scheduling, only if you book a call.
- Infomaniak (Switzerland) — email delivery for our correspondence with you.
Each provider processes data under its own terms. We disclose personal data to public authorities only where we are legally required to do so.
International transfers
Your data is processed primarily in Switzerland. Where a provider we use processes data outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area, that transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards — such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent recognised mechanism.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and engagement data for as long as needed to respond to you and to deliver and support the work, and thereafter only as required to meet legal obligations (for example, statutory retention of invoices). We delete or anonymise personal data when it is no longer needed. You may ask us to delete your data at any time, subject to those legal obligations.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable form. You may withdraw any consent at any time, with effect for the future. To exercise these rights, contact augur@augurvantage.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Switzerland this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); in the EU, your national data-protection authority.
Changes to this statement
We may update this statement to reflect changes in our services or the law. The current version is always published here, with the date it last changed shown at the top of the page.
